Novice turned into a (semi) pro photographer. Event and concert photography are definitely my thing, and after years of photographing artists, stages, crowds and everything that happens around them, I’ve become pretty comfortable behind the camera.
Portrait photography, on the other hand, still gives me that healthy nervousness. There’s something very different about having one person in front of your lens and trying to capture more than just a good-looking image. It’s about finding the right moment, expression, light and angle to show the most beautiful and authentic side of that person.
So I’m exploring another side of my photography, stepping a little outside my comfort zone to see people in a different way.
