The Basford Studio Is Open!!!

Basford Photography & Filming Location, Studio from Leek, Staffordshire, United Kingdom.

Here at Basford we (or should I say our wonderful builders) have been working incredibly hard over the last year to renovate our derelict outbuilding ... And now, the time has come to present to you our BRAND NEW BASFORD STUDIO SPACE!!!!

The space is heated (and warm!!), has a fully equipped models dressing room with everything a model could ever want and a kitchenette including a kettle & microwave all with the same luxury high standard you have all come to experience here at Basford over the last 3 years.

We also have a 10ft high suspension point available in the new studio space which has just this week been used for a Shibari photoshoot!!

Please note, there is currently no running water to the studio but this will be rectified in the coming months.

What equipment does the studio have to offer??

Here at Basford we have invested heavily in an extensive range of brand new, quality lighting equipment, modifiers and backdrops for use. All of our equipment is included in the hire prices of the studio. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment to the studio if desired. We will be continuing to invest in new props and equipment over the coming months.

What are the hire prices here at Basford??

Basford Studio & Private Grounds / Woodland

One Hour = £35 (A minimum of a 2 hour booking is required)

Four Hours = £120 (saving of £20)

Six Hours = £165 (saving of £45)

Eight Hours = £200 (saving of £80)

Combined Cottage, Studio & Private Grounds / Woodland

One Hour = £60 (A minimum of a 2 hour booking is required)

Four Hours = £200 (saving of £60)

Six Hours = £270 (saving of £90)

Eight Hours = £320 (saving of £140)

The new prices are based on four creatives sharing the space. Additional creatives will be charged at £20pp regardless of the hire duration.

For any existing bookings already made here at Basford prior to 1st March 2026, you can add on the studio to your booking for an additional £30 per 2 hours booked.

For any existing model studio day bookings already made here at Basford in 2026, you can add on the studio to your booking for an additional £15 per 2 hours booked. We are happy to be able to discount the rate for studio days in an effort to help touring models continue to sell slots here at Basford.

We require a 50% deposit for all bookings at Basford Hurst Cottage. Deposits are non-refundable if less than one week's notice is given for cancellation of a booking. For no shows and cancellations less than 72 hours we require the entire studio hire amount to be paid in full. By confirming a booking via Purpleport or another form of communication you hereby are liable to abide by these terms.

Bookings outside standard working hours (before 8am / after 8pm) incur a surcharge of 25% per additional hour.
