Coo, I get to leave the first reference. One of many, I hope. Kate is brilliant. One, she has this great place to shoot at, filled with lots of little quirky spaces, it would take ages to shoot them all. Two, she climbs trees! Always a bonus, that. What I really mean is that Kate will do whatever is needed (within her boundaries, please respect them), to get the shot. Oh yeah, she also has animals, which we didn't use this time, because tbh I think it would be a bit warm for comfort but we can use them at a later date. We have another shoot planned in the not-too-distant future, which I am looking forward to.

A very pleasant experience, despite some challenging conditions in terms of heat and intense lighting. However, Kate adapts very well and made some very helpful suggestions, allowing us to work around these. Pre-shoot communications were thorough and professional, so we both had a clear idea of the themes, clothing and contexts.

On the day, she was prompt and very well prepared, given the heat. A mix of themes ensued, some accompanied by a horse, moving toward headshots, fashion, and portraiture. Kate is very engaging to speak with, stoical, self-aware, and takes appropriate direction very positively. In short, a fun shoot. I would be delighted to work with her in the future and, based on this experience, have no hesitation recommending her to other creatives.
