Hi, thank you for looking at my page. I am a hobby rope rigger and photographer.

I am not shooting at the moment as Covid precautions and rigging ropes don't go together even before we get to photography. I currently think that a return to shooting anytime soon will be a difficult regardless on when and how we come out of lock down.

Having spent some years working abroad in Europe and Asia, I took to photography up to record my experiences. In Japan, I studied kinbaku/shibari (rope bondage) under two of the Japanese greats and started taking photographing my work to help me improve. I hope to continue to put rigging, photography and editing together to make some nice images and do justice to the patience and good humour of the models.

So far, I think my rope work is winning, photography is second and my Photoshop trailing in last - but, as they say, practice makes perfect. Time allowing, I am happy to rig for models and photographers in return for tea and photography tips.

When we’re not in lock down, I work around London quite a lot the moment and occasionally abroad – I get back up to Birmingham most weekends, which is about the only time I get to think about my emails, rigging and photography, so please do not worry if it takes me a few days to reply.
