OK, where do I start?

My name is Paul; I am 66 years old & now Officially Retired (but with the same mind set I had when I was about 35)

I have had a camera of various sorts for more years than I want to remember (disposable, 35mm, instamatic, polaroid etc. etc.)

My earliest memory of a camera was that it had a single use disposable blue flash bulb & film that had to developed, yes sorry to say I really am that old (it wasn’t my camera, it belonged to my Dad, it was his pride & joy)

I never did own one of those cameras, but I was hooked with the excitement of the blue flash & the memories it would reveal in days, even sometimes weeks/months to come, as it was so expensive with the blue flash bulbs & developing the film that had to be printed, it was just mainly kept for special occasions

Over the years that followed I have photographed many Landscapes, Gardens, Buildings, beaches, Sea, Sunsets, etc. etc. (the list is endless)

30+ years ago I ventured into the incredible, beautiful, wonderful world of Glamour & then the Adult (legal only) side of photography. There is only so many buildings, landscapes etc. you can photograph

Photography has never been my full-time livelihood; it’s always been a hobby/passion of mine. I have never photographed for profit, I sometimes occasionally recoup a small percentage of my outgoing photography costs

If this was my profession, I would just see it as a job to pays the bills, So, that never did happen

I can only now work from my home in Lower Stondon, Bedfordshire
