I'm interested in portrait/artistic/artnude/surreal photography which I did, as an amateur photographer, many years ago (before the age of digital). This was studio work with professional and semi-professional models.

I've retired and now have time to pick up this hobby, brush up on old skills and learn new ones in digital photography and (hopefully) produce some attractive images.

I don't use Adobe's over priced products to post process images, I use darktable and GIMP which are opensource (i.e. free) and excellent alternatives. (Before retirement I worked in the IT industry so, like many, have a chip on the shoulder regarding large software companies such as Microsoft, Apple and Adobe.)
