Pure Warrior Maiden

It is after 20.00 and I am stilling on the edge of my bed listening to the world go by.  All my bags are packed to get back to work.

I look over at my dressing table and can see the kisses that I made in a pale pink lip stick.

I take a deep breath and smile, I can hear music playing in the background; over the road traffic to my left.

A little voice reminded me that i will not be going any where to night.
