I am an experienced amateur photographer who first became interested in photography nearly 40 years ago when I bought my first SLR camera. Initially I focused on travel photography and classic cars.

As I approached retirement age I wanted to take my hobby in a new direction and I started shooting models in 2012. Since then I have now done over 260 shoots and I have worked with lots of amazing models.

I have another account on Purpleport under the name Mawphotography, where I have over 180 positive references and no negative ones.

I have recently been divorced and I am hoping this will open up further opportunities to develop my portfolio.

Already in 2026 I have been on one photography trip to Cappadocia in Turkey with Luxe Photographic Experiences. I also have three other photography trips booked to Sicily, Tuscany and Crete this year and I will be looking to book further trips in the future.

I have previously been restricted to working within 1 hours travelling time from Royston. However, following my divorce this is no longer the case and I have more freedom to travel for shoots further afield.

Also, in future I will have the option to work from home or even accommodate models on their tours. I have a 6 bedroom house which offers lots of different areas to work in. I am currently renovating the property so more areas to shoot in will become available over time.

If you would like to work with me, no matter where you are based in the UK or abroad please message me with your rates and levels. I am interested in shooting all levels from fashion up to art nude and adult levels depending on the model's work preferences.

I usually prefer to pay the model for a shoot but if you are just starting out and looking to improve your portfolio I would be more than happy to work on a TFP basis.

I am flexible on where I shoot and am happy working in either a studio, at my home or a model's home, hotel room or on location.
