Quickest road journey from the English Channel: Newhaven / Dieppe via Orléans to Limoges for Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, or stay on the motorway via Toulouse for Axat.

Fast rail service from Paris, Gare d'Austerlitz to Limoges, Bénédictin linking with Eurostar via London St Pancras and Ashford, Kent.  No SNCF rail service to Axat but there is a seasonal tourist service - le Train Rouge.

Air services to Limoges for Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche from Bristol, East Midlands, Leeds-Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Southampton

The apartment is bookable through AirBNB from just £66 per night plus cleaning, AirBNB fees and heating, accommodating up to five people, with a 15% discount for Model Folio members off the standard £66 from 22 April 2025 to 23 May 2025, and from 1 June 2025 to 11 July 2025 (i.e. British and French school terms).  If you book a minimum one week, not only do you get an extra night at Axat free of charge, but I also provide a 50% discount off en route accommodation with AirBNB for one night so you can break your journey up to a maximum of half the price of the apartment at Axat.
