Full Moon Studio

Full Moon Studio is a studio space based in Aylburton, on the A48 between Gloucester and Chepstow (GL15 6ST). We are 25 minutes from Gloucester, Bristol and Newport and 45 from Bath and Cardiff.

The main studio is approximately 10x6m with changing room off it. There is a white vinyl roll for high key at one end and black paper for low key at the other (other colours are sometimes available). There are wallpapered backgrounds 2.4x2.4m, which are currently brick and black & white damask. These are subject to change. New room sets are currently being built in another part of the building, to be open by the end of August 2023.

The studio and WC facilities are all on the ground floor and are wheelchair friendly. 

There are loads of props available, including two chaise longes, a leather chair, leather sofas, stools, 'Keeler' chairs, column and plinth, a roll-top bath (not plumbed) and lots of fabrics. A small selection of clothing, shoes and accessories is also available. Stage lighting and a smoke machine are available with advance notice (these may incur extra costs). 

Lighting includes 2 x Lencarta SF300s, 2 x Lencarta SF600s, 3 x Godox 300DEs, 2 x Elemental FUGL-Es and numerous other unbranded or older lights. Modifiers include 2m strip boxes, 1.2m octobox, numerous soft boxes, umbrellas, snoots, barn doors and a couple of beauty dishes. 

Workshops are often held within the studio, catering to everyone from new hobbyists to experienced photographers looking to enhance or brush-up their skills.

Rates: £25 per hour with a £10 discount on every 4-hour block booked (so 4-hours = £90, 8-hours = £180).

NB: we do not allow the sexualisation of schoolgirls (so no school uniforms) or the wearing of real fur.

CANCELLATIONS - PLEASE NOTE: There is no cancellation fee for bookings cancelled with 48+ hours notice. If you cancel your booking with 48 - 24 hours notice, you will be liable for 50% of the booking fee. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you are liable to pay the full hire fee.
