Photography means more to me than creating a beautiful image. I’m interested in what happens between a person, the light and the moment when the camera stops being the centre of attention.

I mainly photograph women in portrait, beauty, fashion and fine art. I’m not looking for a particular type of model. What interests me much more is personality, presence, and the little things that make a face or a posture distinctive.

A shoot shouldn’t just be a sequence of poses. I want to develop images together that carry a mood and still feel like something long after the day is over. Sometimes elegant and quiet, sometimes confident and intense, sometimes a little more unconventional.

I plan my shoots carefully, but I always leave room for spontaneous ideas. Light, perspective, location, styling and expression matter as much to me as the person in front of the camera. The classic rules of photography are a useful guide, not a set of limits. A good image doesn’t always have to do what a textbook expects.

The atmosphere during a shoot is especially important. Respect, mutual trust and relaxed communication are a given. Nobody should ever feel they have to portray something they’re not comfortable with. Bringing a companion is absolutely fine.

I work both paid and TFP, when the idea and the expectations fit on both sides. For TFP, I’m looking for projects both of us are genuinely excited about.

I’m especially happy to work with new faces and with models who enjoy contributing their own ideas. Experience matters far less to me than openness, reliability and the willingness to create strong images together.
