It’s great to see that you’ve found your way to my profile.

My main focus is analogue black-and-white photography . I am particularly fascinated by women with an athletic or muscular presence – capturing their strength, physical control and aesthetic appeal in timeless images is an important part of my photographic work.

Most of my photographs are taken with a Hasselblad 501C using classic 6×6 medium format film . The deliberate analogue process – from loading the film to developing the final negative – slows down the shoot and has a strong influence on the visual character of my work. Every negative is unique.

Of course, I also work digitally. However, for fine-art nude and portrait photography , I consciously choose the analogue approach whenever possible. The focus on capturing the right moment, the limited number of exposures and the distinctive character of film give my images a very special quality.
