Professional, published photographer specialising in portraiture, fashion, lingerie, boudoir and creative concepts.
I've been working professionally as a photographer since 2001 and still love what first attracted me to portraiture: collaborating with creative people to produce striking, individual and sometimes very different images.
My work ranges from classic portraiture and fashion through to lingerie, boudoir and more adventurous concepts. I particularly enjoy location photography, combining natural and ambient light with off-camera flash and making the most of whatever environment we're working in.
My work has been published across magazines, newspapers, fashion, commercial and wedding publications, and I bring that professional experience to every shoot.
For me, a successful shoot is about more than the photographs. Communication, trust and collaboration are hugely important, particularly with more personal genres. I encourage models to contribute ideas, discuss boundaries and help shape the shoot rather than simply being told how to pose.
Privacy and consent are equally important. No photograph will ever be published or shared publicly without the model's consent.
I also pride myself on what happens after the shoot. My usual approach is to fully edit the complete set of usable images, rather than supplying only a handful of selections, and provide them through a private, secure online gallery. Turnaround is usually within 48 hours and always within 7 days, unless agreed otherwise.
I'm particularly proud of the references and recommendations I've received from models I've worked with and these can be seen below.
I'm keen to meet reliable, enthusiastic models, make-up artists and other creatives, particularly where there's potential to build an ongoing working relationship. I undertake paid work as well as selected TFP collaborations where the concept benefits everyone involved.
Finally, my public portfolio doesn't necessarily represent everything I shoot. A considerable amount of commissioned work remains private, so I'm always happy to discuss new ideas, from natural portraiture to something considerably more creative.
If you have an idea, conventional or otherwise, get in touch and let's see what we can create.
