My name is Leigh Hampton, and I am the photographer behind ArcherCourt Photography. I’m an internationally published, part-time professional photographer with a deep passion for storytelling through imagery. My photographic journey began with a focus on macro and landscape work, where I developed an appreciation for detail, texture, and the beauty found in natural environments. However, everything changed during my second wedding shoot back in May 2015.

While documenting that special day, I found myself captivated by the raw, unguarded moments—people laughing, exchanging glances, and simply being their true selves. It was a powerful realisation: the most compelling images are those that capture real emotion and authentic expression. This philosophy has guided my work ever since and remains the heartbeat of everything I do as a photographer.

I specialise in location-based photography, as I believe natural surroundings provide dynamic, interesting, and organic backdrops that enhance the subject without distraction. Whether we’re exploring an urban setting, a wooded trail, or a windswept coast, I’m always looking for environments that help tell your story. If you’ve got a unique location in mind, I’m more than happy to travel within a reasonable distance—we can make something truly special together.

For those who prefer a more controlled setting, I also have access to two excellent studios near Basingstoke, both fully equipped and perfect for a wide range of creative projects. I bring along a selection of lighting gear, modifiers, and accessories to every shoot, ensuring we can adapt and elevate the mood, no matter the setting.

Whether you’re a model looking to refresh or build your portfolio, a creative seeking to capture a specific aesthetic, or someone simply exploring a new artistic concept, I’m open, easygoing, and ready to collaborate. I’m comfortable working across both traditional and experimental genres, and I thrive on creative partnerships with people who are enthusiastic and passionate about their craft.

In addition to working with models, I’m always eager to collaborate with makeup artists, stylists, and designers. My background in macro photography has given me an eye for fine detail, which is particularly well-suited to beauty work and capturing intricate design elements, whether it’s haute couture, avant-garde looks, or conceptual creations.
