Nigel WHP

I have had the pleasure of shooting with Nigel a few times at his home studio which is very conducive to the type of natural light photography I wanted to take.
Nigel is very well organised and always ready and prepared for the shoot, after a quick cuppa to help settle in and get the camera out of the bag. The shoots have always gone well, principally because the pre-shoot communications are very good, and he poses very well, with little direction. I highly recommend Nigel to photographers of all abilities because he is versatile and very creative.

Today, I stepped outside my comfort-zone and shot with Nigel. Usually I only shoot male models as part of a BG or group shoot, rather than a a solo model.

Nigel was great, excellent pre-shoot comms. He was professional and well prepared, I believe the shoot went well and I recommend Nigel very highly.

I had my first photoshoot with Nigel WHP at his home and thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. Nigel WHP is a very professional, friendly model and also was the perfect host. Pre-comms were excellent and we worked through various genres up to art nude. The decor in his home is fantastic and contributed very much to utilising the walls as backdrops and furniture as props. I look forward to working with Nigel WHP again and definitely recommend him to photographers of all levels.

I had my first shoot with Nigel today, Nigel complimented me on my Portfolio and approached me for a shoot. I rarely shoot male models, but with a bit of persuasion I decided to shoot with Nigel I am glad I did. We set the shoot up at short notice! Booked the Studio on the Thursday and shot on the Sunday.

Communications were excellent, although we did not have a shoot plan, we outlined what we were happy to shoot. At the shoot we discussed editing options and got to work, after the shoot I sent proof images to Nigel and I had the quickest response ever from Nigel choosing his favourite I am busy editing them now.

During the shoot, Nigel enthusiastically jumped into every idea we came up with.

Vision – how do you as a photographer meet up with a model’s vision?

This was the challenge that Nigel set me in a casting call, he wanted a photographer to paint him nude with gold paint, then take photos of him adorned with horns, posed with a bow and arrow.

Communications were excellent both before, and during the shoot. Nigel is a very talented model, a true creator, so easy to work with, and it was an absolute pleasure working with him on this project.

Thanks Nigel, for a completely different photoshoot that challenged me on so many levels. Nigel comes highly recommended, and I would be happy to work with him again next time he has a quirky idea!!

What a fantastic shoot with Nigel, even though we had been chatting on line for a while nothing quite prepared me for actually meeting him. All was discussed and planned on line prior to my arrival, after a coffee and a chat we got ready for our duo shoot which was part clothed and part nude. His wardrobe had been bought specifically for the shoot and he looked great in it, well chosen.

The back of camera photos looked amazing as Nigel just has that way about him to pose naturally artistic, almost as if he doesn't have too try hard.

A very definate recommendation from me and on to the next, please. .. .
