I experienced my first shoot with Jules last Wednesday, after our initial WhatsApp video conversation something I do with all photographers that I am potentially going to work with, it paves the way for a smoother shoot.
Jules arrived promptly a little before the time, we then sat down over a cuppa of tea each and discussed the exact details of our shoot. Once we had decided on what exactly we were going to shoot, I gave Jules a guided tour of the entire house, including the museum a room which remains just as it has a room remaining in a time warp!
Once the tour was completed Thereafter Jules and I got to work we worked with an arrangement of various sets of images which were taken on the ground floor. Jules was easy to work with and I think we managed to capture some really magical images. Jules works in a very organised manner and this is really great. Jules has a great understanding of lighting and this makes shooting with him very efficient when it comes to time management and achieving what we set out to achieve.
I was given free range with my poses and so was able to convert some of my life drawing modelling poses into photographic poses, which I feel really worked. I love what we created on this first shoot and I am really looking forward to a second shoot with Jules as I believe that we can create even more magical images second time round.

When I contacted Carmen to initially arrange a shoot she suggested that we start with a WhatsApp video chat, which allowed us to break the ice and get to know each other. Having arranged a date I went to her home and set up my studio lights, after a welcoming cup of tea from her. Carmen is a highly articulate and intelligent lady, very vivacious and outgoing, and has the ability to anticipate a pose just before it is suggested to her. Being also an artist's model Carmen knows exactly what to do and how to pose in an artistic and creative way. She is very hard working and has a great selection of outfits to wear. We created some really lovely images and the shoot went by far too quickly. Carmen is highly recommended as a model and I am very much looking forward to our next shoot.
