How many forms of Cyberbullying do you truthfully know? An educational shoot to raise awareness. A powerful shoot to raise awareness of the negative effects of bullying and in particular, Cyberbullying being in the modelling industry. A reminder to be kind, always!

How many Cyberbullying related words can you find written on me? And how many do you know the true meaning of? I have an important message and statement I am attempting to put forward through the use of this shoot concept. I know it's a long one, but read until the end of this post to find out...
Cyberbullying. A term that is widely used and has an even wider description. Do you know all the various types of cyberbullying? As a model, in the public eye and constantly posting images publicly, I have been on the receiving end of Cyberbullying myself more than enough times. I've watched fellow models, celebrities and photographers in the industry also on the receiving end so I wanted to make a difference. Has Cyberbullying stopped me? Absolutely not. But some people sadly do give in and are deeply affected by it. This is where it needs to stop...
Shot at the weekend with my boy and super talented photographer, Scott... I came up with the idea of using modelling to create an educational shoot, concept, raising awareness of bullying in general, but primarily Cyberbullying for my industry, with the intention of educating others on the broadness of the term, as well as creating a post with a view of being a factor in stopping the cyberbullies. Full stop. (I have even put a little extra research in to ensure I’ve included everything within this shoot concept and post...)
Cyberbullies can hide behind a mask of namelessness online and do not need direct physical admittance to their victims to do unimaginable harm. They are essentially keyboard warriors... Those of you who think it's acceptable to post comments online but cannot look at me in the street, this term is for you... ?
Jealousy. Insults. Criticism. Intimidation... Just a few words that describe the motives used by bullies to harm or bully others.
Within this shoot, I have written on me three sets of words – Those in RED MARKER are all the types of Cyberbullying along with their definitions. How many did you truthfully know existed before today? Whilst words in BLUE MARKER depict word associations with the main cyberbullying headings. Those words in GREEN MARKER shown primarily on my back are words of kindness... They are on my back for a reason. Symbolising turning our back on bullying behaviour, and opening the door to kindness...
Words I have used you will find written on me in RED MARKER, the Cyberbullying main terms and their definitions are shown below for familiarisation, these are:
1. TROLLING – Leaving insulting messages online. These could be one off or repeated over time.
2. CYBERSTALKING – The repeated use of electronic communications by an individual or individuals asked by others to track the actions of an individual or spy, or to harass or frighten someone.
3. HARASSMENT – Aggressive pressure or intimidation which may begin as “banter” but will escalate, this can be sexual, in person or online.
4. MASQUERADING – Copying or imitating someone, as them as a person or copying their work, or pretending to be someone else. (This is a personal pet hate of mine!!)
5. DISSING – To treat with disrespect or contempt, to deliberately belittle or insult.
6. ROASTING – A new form of cyberbullying that some don’t recognise. It involves insults with use of a jokey delivery, it can be considered banter, but roasting is aimed to cause harm through the use of a jokey demeanour masking the true intentions of the bully or bullies from others.
7. REVENGE PORN – Revealing, or threatening to reveal, sexually explicit images or videos of a person on the Internet with the intention of belittling or embarrassing them to cause distress.
8. FRAPING – A violation of personal privacy which involves accessing someone’s private information without their consent.
9. DENIGRATION – The action of unfairly criticising someone or something. This is a broad term and relates to all areas of criticism.
10. FLAMING – Repeatedly posting insulting and intimidating messages to other online users. ‘Flames’ are personal attacks meant to make the recipient feel ashamed and humiliated.
11. SOCIAL EXCLUSION – Excluding individuals from society and taking away their rights and privileges by doing so.
12. OUTING – When a bully shares personal or private information, pictures or videos about someone publicly.
13. DOXING – Searching for and publishing private or identifying information about a particular individual on the Internet, typically with malicious intent.
14. TRICKERY – Intently tricking someone to give over details about another person with the intent to use with malice.
